My role in Aquiris

My first role in Aquiris was as part of the team working primarily on systems and features for Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem, a mobile character collecting RPG developed in partnership with Scopely. Then, in 2023 I started working on second project as part of Aquiris, which was Wonderbox: The Adventure Maker, an Apple Arcade title that mixed action adventure gameplay with a heavy focus on User Generated Content.

My main responsibilities on that game was to work on new gameplay systems and items, creating new ways for players to experience the games, as well as overall system and quality of life improvements, propose and design new features, collaborate with the development of new tools for the team and work on live-ops systems to increase content output for the game.

Hi! We are AQUIRIS and we love making video games. We are headquartered in southern Brazil, in a delightful city called Porto Alegre. We also have a remote team working from locations around the world. With over a decade of experience and a passionate, highly-qualified team of over 100 people, our main focus is delivering the best in artistic, technical, and fun-to-play games to our fan base. To that end, we work independently or in collaboration with publishing partners, creating games for a broad range of platforms: from mobile to PC and consoles. AQUIRIS has developed great games for Cartoon Network, such as CN Superstar Soccer and The Great Prank War, and original IPs like the first-person shooter Ballistic Overkill. Our most recent games are Horizon Chase World Tour, Horizon Chase Turbo, and Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem. Every day, we wake up with a question in mind: how can we make unique games for our players? We have been crafting the answer over time with discipline and hard work.
